Dr. Schechtman should not be allowed to be in practice. His techniques and approach lacks professionalism. I do not believe that he has kept his skills current. I have interacted with other Psychiatrist who were much more professional in their approach and kept focus on the patient's issues. Dr. Schechtman discusses other patients that he has dealt with from my company which I believe is unprofessional. He tends to shift the conversation to unrelated topics that had nothing that was slightly related to the reason I was meeting with him. He asks questions, then cuts you off in the middle of your response, and tries to answer the question for you. He is also very condescending in how he treats his patients.
