This was a stand in doctor for my regular doctor and he, without having a doctor patient relationship with me judge me and my condition relentlessly. Completely thru me off, He was aggressive, disrespectful, arrogant, cruel and lacked concern for my condition. Upon visit he did not even ask me how I was feeling or doing. He was very uninterested.

Dr Bourne is unethical, heartless, rude, and even mean. My wife and I were both patients of his. He's treated me poorly, and my wife horribly. He doesn't care what a patient says their pain is, he goes on his "observation", which is a clear violation of the Patients' Bill of Rights. He's crazy nuts about appointment rescheduling, does not see his patients when scheduled (often not at all during a visit)and yet makes decisions without entering the room. He is uncaring, unsympathetic, condescending, and almost torturous in his (non) treatment of the patient. He lied about what he said in sessions and also about what treatment he had supposedly given, and about my wife's whole treatment plan in general (her words as we write this together, but I agree - I was there each time she was treated). He really deserves stronger words than I can use, but I can say I wouldn't send him to my worst enemy. Our new pain doctor said his last five calls prior to ours were requests for transfer from Dr. Bourne. My wife's pain got worse under his care, and, while mine got better at first, it's as bad now as when I started. To elaborate; when he felt I was ready for a reduction in medication, I agreed cautiously to try it. The next visit, I let the nurse know the pain was much worse after the trial reduction. She left and came back. She said that he'd seen me across the lobby and that I looked better to him, so I must be better, and that he wouldn't re-up my medication based upon that. One incident among many. Trust me that you do not want to see this guy.

Staff was great and Dr Bourn is wonderful. He has been so much help to me
